HIGHLIGHTS
'Party Skills for the End of The World'
Manchester International Festival (MIF) / Shoreditch Townhall
Composed and performed elements of the live score for the wild, immersive show that showed us how to get by when the end comes and it’s time to celebrate everything that’s made life worth living. Staged in a unique Salford building, Party Skills for the End of the World was created especially for MIF17 by Nigel Barrett and Louise Mari of cult theatre collective Shunt, one of the first groups to break out of theatres and make a new and exciting style of performance that defies categorisation.
'The Sleeper Awakes'
A brand new, live, audiovisual adaptation of the HG Wells' dystopian novel
Creatively produced, composed and performed in this powerful modern re-telling of HG Wells' novel of the same name. The themes in the original book resonate unnervingly with today's political landscape and world, now retold live on stage through powerful, imposing music and beautiful, overwhelming visual animation. This work-in-progress piece has received R&D funding from Arts Council England (ACE) and has so far been performed and developed at both Brighton Dome and Shoreditch Townhall. Graham has lead the production of this piece, overseeing all aspects of it's creation and the collaboration with his band AK/DK and the visual work by Plume Animation
